IRP5's are issued to all employees of our business clients once the EMP501 reconciliation has been accepted by SARS via SARS Easyfile.
Taxrek, who administers the payroll process directly, will upload the IRP5's directly to the employer's ERP system for electronic distribution to his/her employees.
The detail as the IRP5 is pre-populated unto the SARS E-filing system, whereupon the employee would request their personal income tax return and said detail would appear on their return already completed as per the details that Taxrek submitted as part of the EMP501 reconciliation via SARS Easyfile.
